During the celebrations of INTERNATIONAL WOMEN WEEK, an AWARENESS TALK was organized in D. D. Jain College of Education as on March 7, 2018 on the topic “PERSONAL HYGIENE”. Ms Vandana Patyal, Campaign Manager, Proctor and Gamble India Limited apprised all about the need and Importance of keeping once personal health and hygiene up. She discussed at length about the various problems that a woman dwindled with during the menstruation period every month. She suggested the ways to combat all those and to lead life happily and vigorously even during those days. She also criticized the various malice practices carrying on in few societies even in these days and suggested the girl students to not to get trapped in all those. She suggested that every woman should use sanitary napkins as it is the safest and healthier than other available options.
At the last but not the least Principal Dr. Vijay Laxmi addressed the students to take pledge to use sanitary napkins themselves and convey this message to all especially to those girls and woman who are still under privileged and have neither such information available to them nor such resources to afford its usage.
