The Counselling Cell of Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana in association with the Department of Psychology, organized a five-day workshop on “Discovering the real you and achieving your fullest potential”. It involved various modules assessing various psychological dimensions like personality, anxiety, depression, IQ, motivation, aggression etc.
Students from various streams of the college were assessed on these dimensions and their scores were interpreted by the volunteers from the Department of Psychology. They were further apprised of various strategies to help and achieve their full potential.
The students interacted enthusiastically and were very excited to know about various aspects of their psychological and personality make-up. They were given various stickers depicting their assessed status so that they could feel enforced to continue using the strategies highlighted in this workshop.
The Principal, Dr(Mrs.) Mukti Gill applauded the efforts of the Counselling Cell for being actively associated with the service of the community and enabling the students to tap their hidden potential by providing them an insight into their various psychological dimensions. The students appreciated the outcome of the workshop, felt empowered and were very happy to know about the various aspects of their personality and thinking which they were unaware of.
